There are also two sets of winners’ medals for whoever finishes the weekend on top of the EPL.

But not everyone will get their hands on a medal after Sunday’s games have come to a close.

In 2018, the EPL handed out 40 medals to City’s players after they being crowned champions.

The silver medals were handed to Pep Guardiola and his staff, including every player who made at least five EPL appearances.

Claudio Bravo, Eliaquim Mangala and the likes are likely to miss out if Citizens retain their title – but which the Reds’ players face disappointment?

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has made a remarkable recuperation from injury but has just one substitute appearance to his name in the EPL.

Simon Mignolet hasn’t played at all with Alisson shining in goal while Alberto Moreno has featured four times, meaning he will get a medal if he features against Wolves.

Rafael Camacho has made one substitute outing but that won’t be sufficient, while fellow youngsters Curtis Jones, Ki-Jana Hoever and Rhian Brewster will all miss out.

The Reds could decide to give winners’ medals to any of the above players, as long as the 19 stars who have played in at least five matches get one.

Additional medals are not likely to be granted by the Premier League Board as less than 39 players have made five or more appearances.
