Barca consider Saul swoop despite £134m release clause
Barcelona are right now planning to make a move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul in spite of his release clause standing at an eye-watering £134million, the Daily Mail reports.
The midfielder has been on Barca’s radar since 2013 when they included a right of first refusal for Saul in the deal that saw David Villa move to Atletico from the Nou Camp.
Saul has caught their attention once again after starring for the national side in Spain’s victory over England and Croatia this September.
Barcelona’s swoop for the 23-year-old despite £134m release clause could make Atletico Madrid midfielder becomes Luis Enrique’s ‘preferred option’.
