Chelsea have beaten Tottenham Hotspur in the bid to sign teenage attacker George Nunn from League Two side Crewe Alexandra.
Nunn was promoted to Crewe’s Under-18s side earlier this year after starring at a younger age-grade level.
Spurs have looked into poaching the forward from the Railwaymen but could miss out to Chelsea, who want the youngster to continue his development at Cobham, The Sun reports.
The 16-year-old is said to have already agreed to switch clubs at the end of the season, with a compensation package now left to be thrashed out.
George Nunn has in the past impressed against Tottenham at youth level by netting a hat-trick against them.
