FIFA WC 2018: Harry Kane scores last minute goal for victory against Tunisia

England will now cross swords with Panama in their next Group G game on June 24 while Tunisia will play Belgium in Group G fixtures on June 26.

England came out triumphant against Tunisia in the Group G fixture of the FIFA World Cup in Volgograd Arena, Russia on Monday as Captain Harry Kane scored a brace.

Harry Kane put England in the lead in the 11’ but Ferjani Sassi converted a spot-kick to pull Tunisia level in the 35th minute.

England owes its 2-1 win to Harry Kane’s header in the last minutes of the match (90’+1′) which broke the 1-1 tie. Kane’s 11th-minute goal also served as the breakthrough in the game.

Tunisia seemed promising in the first half with midfielder Ferjani Sassi scoring in the 35th minute.

However, Kane headed home off a corner in the 90+1st minute to give England the winning goal. England kept it late to seal victory but their overwhelming start almost blew Tunisia away. England were all over Tunisia, beginning the match in a vigorous manner.
