Liverpool have plans for a summer swoop for Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini, according to reports.
Italian source Corriere dello Sport says that Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is a fan of Pellegrini’s abilities and is planning a move for the 21-year-old at the end of the season.
The source also says that Klopp is cautious of losing Emre Can as a free agent and wants to shore up his options should the German, out of contract at the end of the season, leave Anfield.
The Italian has made 17 starts in the Serie A this term, scoring thrice, while also making 4 appearances in the Champions League.
Lorenzo Pellegrini who is under contract until 2021 has a release clause of £28m in his deal.
