Marouane Fellaini has emerged as a transfer target for Liverpool.
Having failed to agree terms over a new deal with United, the Manchester United midfielder appears ready to leave Old Trafford when his current contract expires at the end of the season.
Fellaini has been linked with a summer switch to either Italy or Turkey but according to L’Equipe, Liverpool are ready to enter the race for the 30-year-old’s signature.
The Belgian international has previously enjoyed a successful spell with the club’s Merseyside rivals Everton, but Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is prepared to offer Fellaini a 3-year contract.
During his time at Goodison Park, the player scored 33 goals in 177 appearances during a 5-year period with the Toffees.
