Wilfred Ndidi has been named among the top five talented young players who’ll feature at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
SportMediaset listed the Leicester City midfielder, Federico Valverde (Uruguay / Deportivo), Dimitri Oberlin (Switzerland / Basel ), Hirving Lozano ( Mexico / PSV) ) as well as Aleksandr Golovin (Russia / CSKA Moscow) as the 5 youngsters that will show off their qualities in Russia 2018.
On Super Eagles star, Max Cristina said: ”The difference with Kanté is evident starting from the more slender physicality that makes him more active in pressing and more courageous in the insertions with or without the ball.
”The long legs allow important strides that make it a player to keep an eye on in the two phases.
”With Nigeria at the World Cup he could be a player to keep an eye on, the ones that the big clubs are always interested in, even if it takes a lot of money to get him from Leicester.”
Ndidi is at the moment with the Super Eagles in Wrocław ahead of Friday’s friendly match against Poland.
