Mesut Ozil and Thomas Muller have pulled out of Germany’s friendly game with Brazil slated for Tuesday evening.

The duo started the match against Spain on Friday where Muller scored a long-range equaliser as Joachim Low’s side drew 1-1 in Dusseldorf.

Ozil completed the match, whereas Bayern Munich forward Muller was replaced by Leon Goretzka 9 minutes to the end of the match.

Germany has announced through their official Twitter handle that neither of the 2 players have travelled ahead of the meeting with the Selecao at Berlin’s Olympiastadion.

The German Football Association (DFB) gave no sign that either player left the squad due to injury.

Ozil will be in action for Arsenal on April 1 when they host Stoke City at the Emirates Stadium.

The Germany’s friendly game with Brazil kicks off by 7:45pm on Tuesday 27th March at the Olympiastadion.
