Paul Pogba And Jose Mourinho Not Speaking to Each Other at Manchester United
The working relationship between Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho has worsened to the extent that the both of them are no longer in talking terms.
The Frenchman has fallen out of favour at Manchester United, being dropped from the starting lineup on several occasions over the last few weeks.
Pogba was once again left out of last Saturday’s FA Cup quarter-final win over Brighton & Hove Albion, having as well been benched for United’s Champions League last-16 second leg against Sevilla in midweek.
The £89m midfielder hasn’t taken his exclusion likely and has been giving the Portuguese the silent treatment, only communicating through assistant boss Rui Faria & the club’s other backroom staff, The Sun reports.
Likewise, his boss is believed to be sticking to his guns, with other reports suggesting that Mourinho is happy to cut his losses at the end of the season and get rid of Pogba.
Some persons including Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola as well as France coach Didier Deschamps, have expressed concern at the visible breakdown in relations between Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho.
The Frenchman has made 27 appearances this season for United, with 3 goals to his credit while rendering ten assists.
