Paul Pogba finally opens up on his feud with Jose Mourinho

Should we say thank goodness since Paul Pogba has finally opened up on his feud with Jose Mourinho?

For over a month now, the Paul Pogba vs Jose Mourinho feud have been flying around claiming that the player and his coach have fallen out.

The backdrop to the rumours were Pogba’s performances for Manchester United.

Pogba hasn’t hit the high notes as many expected from him this season which includes Mourinho, who left the French star on the bench for recent matches against Sevilla and Brighton.

Yet, when Pogba was away on French national duty, he showed what he can do scoring a brilliant free-kick.

On Sunday, a brand new interview with Pogba was aired on French TV show Telefoot.

In that interview, Pogba has dismissed claims he’s fighting with Mourinho at Old Trafford. With a smile on his face, the 100 million euro man said:

“There is no problem with Jose Mourinho!

“I am not the one who makes the team. You have to ask the coach if you want to know why I’m playing less. I respect his choices. It’s too early to talk about a Man United exit, the situation may change.”

Will that silence the stories? That’s unlikely.

Pogba also talked about the chances of France at the Russia 2018 World Cup:

“We have the potential to win the World Cup, we have a great team.

“We have to work, but it’s going to be very hard. Just because we are the French national team, that doesn’t mean we will win all our matches 5-0!”

France is in same group with Australia, Denmark and Peru in their World Cup group. You can see the other World Cup teams and their groups here.
