Jack Wilshere is eager to address his Arsenal future before the 2018 World Cup begins.
Wilshere has worked his way back into the Gunners first team this season after spending the 2016-17 campaign on loan at Bournemouth.
The midfielder’s current deal with Arsenal will expire at the end of June, though, and his future is still undecided. Wilshere has said that he wants a resolution to be made either way ahead of the 2018 World Cup.
“I have got three months left on my contract. I don’t know how to answer that,” The 26-year-old told reporters.
“Ideally, yes, I want it sorted as soon as possible. I want to go to the World Cup and enjoy it, but we have three months till then and a lot can happen. Ideally from my point of view and the club’s point of view, they will probably want it sorted.”
The midfielder is right now with the England squad getting ready for the impending international friendlies with Netherlands & Italy.
